CHICKS - Country Holidays for Inner City Kids

This is a national charity, whose HQ is in Brentor. They offer free respite breaks to disadvantaged children, for example, those in poverty, young carers, victims of abuse, or the bereaved, who would benefit from time away from their circumstances.  The breaks are intended to be fun, and to allow time for rest and relaxation, in the company of other children and a skilled and energetic team of youth workers.

BMCN - Brentor and Moor Compassionate Neighbours

We are a non-denominational charitable organisation working in partnership with St Luke's Hospice. We are dedicated to helping the community to "look after its own" - in other words, to assist people living with long-term or life-limiting conditions, and those approaching the end of life, in their own homes by pairing them with a suitable volunteer. We work with local Primary Care professionals, our local hospice, and other charities (notably TASS and Brentor PCC) to achieve this, and our Patron is Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE.
